About Red Entertainment Agency
Red Entertainment Agency is an exclusive talent-booking agency dedicated to representing a select roster music and comedy artists. The Red Entertainment Agency team is highly experienced in the multifaceted world of entertainment and understands the specific needs of their artists. As a firm that focuses on each artist’s unique talent and potential, Red Entertainment Agency is highly proactive, and in constant communication with industry contacts, thereby ensuring that every artist receives individual attention.
Founded in 2002 by Carlos Keyes, a former musician and music producer, Red Entertainment Agency was built on Keyes’ years of experience in the entertainment world. After earning a degree in computer science, Keyes combined his passion for music with his business acumen, landing a position at Pyramid Entertainment Group, an international booking agency, in 1993. During this time, Keyes procured bookings for established artists such as Kool and the Gang, Gladys Knight, Chaka Khan, and Men at Work. He then pursued several successful business ventures in the entertainment industry, before launching Red Entertainment Agency.
This highly selective firm prefers working with legendary performers and bands, rather than trendy hit-makers with limited career life spans. In addition, Red Entertainment Agency seeks out and represents newer acts that show the promise of longevity. The agency has defined itself by developing and presenting tours, giving fans the opportunity to experience performances by several artists in one show.
As an example, Keyes was responsible for creating the Soul Divas Tour, which included legendary performers Whitney Houston, Natalie Cole, and Dionne Warwick. Keyes also presented KC’s Boogie Blast, which featured KC and the Sunshine Band; Dionne Warwick’s Solid Gold Christmas Tour, Gloria Gaynor; A Flock of Seagulls; and many others.
